heavy cast iron grinds fine herbs: the upper and lower parts of the spice mill are provided with a pyramid-shaped relief. when turning the lid, herbs will are crushed by the weight of the cast iron. pepper and similar grains can be ground with the grinder, which requires some effort. due to the rounded shape, the grinder fits perfectly in the hand during grinding.

the ground spice can be stored in the cast iron top, and the wooden lid with silicone seal closes the container

the inside of the mills is treated with swedish rapeseed oil. on the outside, you get a layer of black varnish so that the cast iron does not rub off during use.

the swing mills are made in sweden, the production is still partly artisanal.

please note: the mill is only suitable for dry herbs.

the grinder and lid are not dishwasher safe as the cast iron would rust. for the same reason, the spice mills are not suitable for salt.
