elephant stool | black – design sori yanagi

japanese design of the 50s - a timelessly beautiful classic. this polypropylene stool is the first piece of seating furniture that has been made entirely from plastic and without the use of fiberglass. it owes its name 'elephant' stool to its elegantly flowing shapes and wide legs. the light object is weatherproof, compact and can be stacked for easy storage.
