an almost archaic tool: a pepper mill made of cast iron. the convincingly simple mechanics - as seen in the photo - allow the pepper to be coarsely ground. the grinder fits well in the hand because of its weight. the hand-flattering swivel lid made of walnut wood forms a visual and haptic contrast to the rough, cylindrical cast iron body.
