cubicus, assembled as a cube, skilfully conceals its true characteristics. the ten parts can be combined to form fully solid or weightless looking constructions. the colour nuances in red or blue reveal the construction principle of the dismantled cube to some extent: rectangles reproduce the cube as a frame. the larger the aspect ratios, the more weightless the cube appears. in this way, the elements can be placed on top of each other on an imaginary corner of the cube in such a way that the more expansive elements appear to float.
